We are seeking dedicated and engaged trustees to help steer our organisation towards a brighter future. As a trustee, you will play a vital role in guiding our initiatives, and fulfilling our charitable objective: to advance the education of the public in the field of surrogacy and, in particular, approaches to surrogacy that are legal, ethical and safeguard the rights of all parties.

Who are we looking for?
Our journey to establish the SurrogacyUK Foundation began in 2022. The Foundation was granted charitable status in October 2023 and we are seeking to replace a number of founding trustees that have moved on, or will retire as trustees in 2026.
Note that a vacancy for Chair is likely to arise in 2026.
Individuals with a genuine interest in surrogacy who support our values and beliefs (see here for further details)
Engaged community members with a desire to make a difference
Ability to dedicate time every month to projects and initiatives (up to ½ a day), attend regular meetings (1 hour each month in the evening, online) and to attend an annual strategy day
Professionals with skills in governance, finance, fundraising, marketing, or legal fields (preferred but not essential)
People committed to diversity, inclusion and ethical practices
